MAKE AN IMPACT ACROSS A DIVERSE RANGE OF PRACTICE AREAS
Depending on your interests and experience, your work may include paediatrics, autism, NDIS and disability, community health, mental health, neurological and acquired brain injury, environmental modifications, occupational rehabilitation, rehabilitation, occupational justice and private practice.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide evidence-based, person-centred support tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include:
• Completing functional assessments and developing individualised therapy plans
• Delivering practical, goal-focused therapy to improve independence and participation
• Supporting daily living skills, sensory needs, emotional regulation, motor development and community participation
• Preparing clear, timely reports, progress notes and recommendations
• Collaborating with families, carers, educators, support coordinators and other health professionals
• Participating in case discussions and multidisciplinary care planning
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and professional compliance
Senior OTs may also mentor junior clinicians, contribute to service improvement and take on leadership responsibilities.
ABOUT YOU
You are approachable, reliable and genuinely passionate about helping people achieve meaningful outcomes. You will have:
• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
• Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain it
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A person-centred, evidence-based approach
• The ability to manage a caseload and clinical documentation effectively
• A current Working with Children Check
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
• A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
Experience with NDIS participants is highly regarded, but OTs at every career stage—including new graduates—are encouraged to apply.
